Head cold help!

Anyone have any ideas to help with a head cold, Like Honey tea or something? I already checked and I can't take any meds so I am looking for something I can do! Thanks!

  • Just getting over one myself. It's very frustrating. But I sucked on a lot oF coldeeze. I found squeezing a n orange In hot water with a lil agave necker very comforting. Pure peppermint tea was soothing too. Hot showers were a blessing. Even more rest than you're hopefully getting already and vitamin c.

  • ever used a neti pot? folks swear by them. If you clean out your nose, you clean out the germs. I've not used one, but when I get a cold, I clear out my nose with salt water. burns only a little, and salt water is a natural antiseptic.

My sister also swears by eating massive amounts of garlic when she gets sick. Garlic is a natural germ killer too. Bring on the Spaghetti and sauce.

  • I had a head cold for over 7 weeks and it's still lingering.  I take hot water with lemon and honey before bed.  It just soothes and helps me get to sleep (even though I wake up every few hours).  I also take a vitamin C with my prenatal vitamin and drink orange juice at least once a day (even though I don't like the taste).  Just sta hydrated and sleep whenever you can.  Even if it's only for an hour here and there.  GL!
