NBR -- really sad local accident...

There was a two-car accident out on the reservation with five fatalities. A mom was in one car with her 15-year-old daughter, and sons who are 13, 9, and 4, and the mother and the 13 and 4 year old boys died. The daughter is in the local hospital, and the 9 year-old is in a hospital in Portland. At the scene, he was in shock, wandering around, and kept asking the woman who stopped to help if she could take him home.

The other bodies haven't been identified yet. It's so sad. I can't even imagine what their families are going through.

Please send good thoughts to these families...

    That is horrible.  Those poor kids.  Definitely sending good thoughts their way, and to the other family or families.

    Thank you so much... I just can't imagine it, and there have been two other tragic deaths on the reservation this month. A single car accident where a 36-year-old woman was killed, and a man was found dead in the river, and that's still under investigation.

    The reseveration only has about 1,500 people, so it's a very tragic time... Everyone here is really being supportive and making sure to tell their loved ones they love them, which is the one positive thing I can think of out of the situation.

    Please remember to let your loved ones know you love them because you never know what could happen. Hugs to all of you ladies, too.
