So, I know this is pretty random. Long story short, my cat brought home a baby bunny. He's not super tiny, he looks like he's probably old enough to be weaned, but I can't know for sure. I feel so sad for him and his mother who is probably looking for him. There's a wildlife refuge nearby that we can take him to tomorrow... would it be weird to give him a little bit of pumped milk for the night?
My cat was a stray that I took in when she was pregnant. She's constantly leaving dead birds and squirrels on our patio, so I'm really glad she didn't hurt the thing. It looks like she just picked him up like a kitten and carried him home. Poor little guy.
Re: Can I give a bunny breast milk?
i love when animals leave presents... even if it is a little icky. i don't think that the bm has enough protein for the bunny. i googled it, i thought this seemed helpful.good luck!!!!

Thanks for the link! I Googled around some and after finding a lot of cases of people giving kittens breast milk regularly, I decided to give him a little dish. I seriously doubt he'll take any interest in it, but oh well. I tried.
My friend let her dog drink a little BM one night and it made him vomit a bunch...don't know if the same would happen with a rabbit or not.
You can always try nursing him.... totally kidding. LOL
Poor little bunny... I hope he does ok!
Aww! Yay!
Lol.. a la the Tori Amos cover with the pig? Nooo thank you.
