Here we go again re: BFing pics...

So evidently women can serve their country in uniform but not their baby? I really don't understand why people would find that so offensive!

  • Honestly, I don't think they should pose for pics BFing in uniform. Servicemembers are not even supposed to hold hands, kiss, hug, etc in uniform unless its returning from a deployment/extended absence. When they are in uniform they are "US Property". I think its fine for them to BF in uniform throughout the course of their day as necessary, and I would not blink an eye at NIP in uniform. I am a huge fan of BF, but the pictures are not appropriate IMO.

    The article said they aren't supposed to eat in uniform, either, which surprises me- we have a cafe by my house that has uniformed service members eating at it every day...

    That being said, I understand that there are rules for being in uniform, but I'm glad they don't have one against BFing. I like the picture!
