Ok, so I am so disappointed with myself. Previously working in the dental field before DD was born, I am obssessed with teeth. I am very anal about taking care of my teeth and it is the #1 thing I notice about others first. However, I am TERRIBLE about remembering to brush LO's teeth. I do it daily, but I forget to do it at the appropriate times and more than once.
Its actually embarassing for me to admit bc I know the importance of taking care of their teeth. I have seen way too many little children with terribly decayed teeth to have that happen to my daughter. Granted, she doesnt drink juice-but everything else does have sugars in it (mainly natural sugars ie fruit/milk etc).
What do you guys do to help you remember? I know I just need to get a good routine down. I should really just set an alarm on my phone unitl I remember on my own.
Re: Confession RE teeth-brushing
I brush Em's teeth right after I put her clothes on in the morning and right after I put her snoozin clothes on at night. It is just a routine now. Every other night on bath nights, we do it in the tub. Don't be mad at yourself. You'll get into a routine too.
