Spray Sunscreens

I have always used the Walgreens generic version of the Neutrogena baby sunblock that doesn't have all of the chemicals that traditional sunscreen has. Now that DS is 2.5 it would be so much easier to just spray on sunscreen. Is that still a no-no? I thought maybe he was old enough now for sunscreen but I wasn't for sure.

We use spray on sunscreen on his arms and legs but regular on his face. My friend uses spray on all over her twins, even their faces. They just close their eyes. I figure it's what you're comfortable with.

Same as PP... it says not to spray your face, so we don't.  Plus I don't trust her to not open her eyes or mouth at this point.

  • I use the spray on DD1.  I spray her arms and legs.  For her face I will either spray the sunscreen into my hand and wipe it on her face or use the regular lotion.
