So Annoyed Today...

First, I had two women scheduled and confirmed to come give me quotes on cleaning my house (don't judge!  I don't do bathrooms!).  NEITHER ONE showed up!  No phone call, no email, nothing!  WTF?

Second, DH (who works third shift so never has to do midnight feedings and sleeps while LO is in daycare) wants me to make dinner tonight so he can sleep a little later because he didn't sleep well yesterday.  UMMMM....NO?!?!  Dinner is his job so that I can take care of LO/pickup the house/etc.  I'm so sorry you only got 5 hours of sleep yesterday, I can't remember the last time I got 5 straight hours.

Grrrrr...people are on my last damn nerve today.

    Yeah, DH agreed that he would take over dinner duty when he became a SAHD. It's been three weeks, and he's made two dinners that weren't frozen or carry out pizza. It's really been bugging me lately.

    Are you serious???  What is it about men?  Sheesh, I had to make dinners while on mat leave.  Now I'm working from home, taking care of DD (including night feedings bc I EBF), AND having dinner ready for DH when he gets home at 7.  Can you say domestic goddess?   I really don't think DH could even do half of what I do, yet I have to hear about how tired or long his day was....really?

    When DH and I first got married, we cooked dinner together and cleaned up as a team afterwards. ALOT has changed since then...lol

    Now we both work full time, I get off work at 5, go pick up DD and go to the gym. Get home around 630 or 7, make dinner, clean up after dinner (both of those while taking care of DD) give LO a bath, feed her and put her to bed...everyday.

    DH only works 3-4 days a week, I dont mind doing everything when he works, because he works 12 hour days to my 8 hour days. BUT on his days off he does NOTHING, he takes care of DD, but doesnt clean, do laundry, make dinner...nothing. He doesnt even wash the bottles he uses during the day. Then when I get off and go to the gym, he wants me to take DD with me so he can have a break.

    I finally threw a fit until he started getting up with her when he doesnt work the next day....but he complains. I do it and go to work the next morning. (DD is still up every 2 hours)

    He has been annoying me lately too!

    Annoying about the cleaning ladies! I hate waiting around when people flake out!!!

     At least it sounds like H can cook! My H is ridiculous and hasn't got a clue. He can literally cook eggs and that's it. Not even KD. Once I asked him to put potatoes in the oven for dinner (baked potatoes).  He literally took the potatoes out of the bag and put them in the oven. When I opened the oven and saw dirty potatoes that still had eyes on them I asked him what he was thinking. He said he thought they looked weird and I should have told him how to do it because he didn't know!

    Bahaha! That made me lol :-) If he thought they looked weird why not ASK??
