Two Under 2

recommend your video monitor for 2 rooms

Hi! Do you have one monitor or two? We have the Summer Infant Slim and Secure video monitor. I believe we can add a camera and switch between channels to monitor both kids, just wondering if anyone does this and if you are happy with it? Otherwise what would you recommend for monitoring 2 kids (one baby, one toddler)?

Thanks!

We have the motorola one that pans/tilts and has a 3.5in screen. I love it! We replaced our old video monitor with it and I couldn't be happier. It scans both rooms and I can move hte camera around since ds1 and ds2 are in twin beds. The sound is good quality and so is the picture

  • Hey there! We have the Summer securesleep monitor. Very similar to the slim and secure. At first I was really wanting a monitor that panned between the rooms. But I started thinking, we will have DD in our room for a while. And when she isn't we will keep the monitor on her most of the time. We will use it to occationally check on DS once he is older.

We are going to just buy another camera. I cannot justify buying a whole new monitor when ours works great.

  • We have the Summer Infant BabyTouch. It's similar to the Motorola in that it pans, zooms, and scans between multiple cameras (at set time intervals, not just manually). The touch screen is very large. We're only using it in one room right now (DD2 isn't here yet), but we've tested out the 2-camera set-up and really like it.
