Thank you all so much for your support
I spent 5 long hours in the ER and they drew a ton of blood, gave me an IV, and I had an ultrasound. Levels all came back good and the ultrasound did measure correctly. I am only 5 weeks along so the Dr. said everything looks good, but it is hard to tell since a heartbeat would not show up yet anyway. I was of course diagnosed with a threatened miscarriage (same as last pregnancy)
My OB did come down to the ER (he is great!) and increased the amount of progesterone I am on and instead of the suppositories I am now using the cream (Crinone). Has anyone used the cream before? I go back to the OB tomorrow where they will draw more blood to see if my levels are increasing.
I am praying for a sticky baby and hopefully my levels will continue to rise! Thanks again to everyone
Re: Update: Think it may be over..
So glad to hear that things look okay!
Ive only ever been on that gel. It's not bad. I take it right before I go to bed (like last thing before I lay down) so gravity isn't an issue.

I am so glad to hear this news- you are in my T&P's.
The day I got my BFP one day short of 4 weeks, I had a some mixed dark red bleeding that gradually tapered into spotting, so my Dr. prescribed Crinone 8% immediately, which I have been on once a day right at bedtime. I've heard some are prescribed morning instead, which I what I believe package instructions recommend, but my Dr. ordered evening, so just be sure to follow your Dr.'s orders. I will have been on Crinone for 4 weeks tomorrow, and will be 8 weeks this Friday. We saw a heartbeat for the first time last Friday, so so far, so good!
I'm sure by now you may have come across this but there are a world of colorful and sometimes alarming side effects common with Crinone. Sorry for the TMI, but I have had the "rainbow" of colors of discharge with it- ranging from yellow to cream to orange to brown to even BLACK- yes, scary scary black. My Dr. said that's all normal, so if it happens to you, it's very common. The feeling of it rushing out during the day can also be alarming, so keep that in mind too.
T&P's and all of my wishes to you for a H&H 9 months!
Sorry you had to spend the morning in the ER. FX for good betas and a heartbeat on your next ultrasound.

Plenty of sticky dust to you!
I used Crinone cream (where you use the applicator to inject it up inside) from 6 weeks to 13 weeks for this pregnancy. I used it right before I went to bed so it would stay put. It was a little messy and sometimes it comes out in big (TMI) orange or pink clumps. Don't freak out too much - those colors are considered normal by my doc and most of the gals here on the board. There is some debate about when is the best time to insert it (before bed, morning, etc.) - just listen to your doctor.
Edit: Oh - and I'd definitely recommend wearing a pad for 24 hours a day while on the cream to not gack up your undergarments too bad. It also makes the wetness bearable - so change it often. (TMI) My DH wore condoms when I was on the cream because we weren't really sure what, if any, side effects it would have on him.
I am so glad that everything looks good! Yay!
Ditto what pp said about crinone. I took it in the morning and it was messy, but I just wore a pantyliner. Good luck!

During my first ultrasound all they could see were the babies sac's and no heartbeats .. by the next week or so the babies were big enough to see the heartbeats on an ultrasound. So I would not lose hope just yet!

So glad you got good news, congrats!
I am on crinone right now too. Don't be alarmed when it comes out in spongy clumps. Sometimes it can be different colors too. I take it at night to limit the amount that comes out.
Good luck!

I am so glad you are doing better! Sending super huge amounts of sticky dust!
I use Crinone at 100 mg twice a day. Pretty much the same as the compounded suppository as far as leakage/crud goes. As pps said keep in mind as the crinone gets old up there it may change colors. I swore I was seeing blood once and my DH reminded me that my RE said you will see it turn brown, pink and cream colors as the old comes out. Some ladies clean it out in the shower but a gal on the PAIF board did that and spotted a bit the next day because she scrapped her lining (it easily gets irritated on progesterone) and I don't need that freak out so I just leave it alone.
