Thank you to the ladies who confirmed I don't have line eyes this morning!! I am so excited to be joining you and I am still in shock I'm 26 and DH is 32, this will be our first!!
Now onto the good stuff:
What we did: This was our 4th cycle trying. I haven't been temping for the past two months because I felt like it turned me into a crazy woman, but I did use OPKs. Depending on what day I actually O'd, we either hit O-2 and O or O-3, O-1, and O+1. I'm either 9 or 10 DPO today.
Testing: I tested yesterday because I have about 75 internet cheapies in my bathroom drawer. I wasn't surprised to see a BFN. Got home from work this morning at 8am and I was compelled to POAS again, so I did fully expecting to see another BFN. Before I even climbed into the shower, a second line was popping up. I took what seems like the fastest shower ever known to man and proceeded to carefully inspect my FRER. I peed on 4 more tests (all + except for the digi). Then I called my SIL and brought them over to her house for further inspection
Symptoms: For the past couple of days I have had slight twinges in my pelvic area. I've been riding my bike a lot, so I just chalked it up to a tweaked groin. Other than that, I haven't gotten my usual PMS symptoms (sore BBs).
How I told DH: I had been planning to do something really cute, like buy a little onesie or a card and give it to him when he got home from work... epic fail! Instead, I just walked out of the bathroom with shaking hands and said "babe, can you need to come look at this!"
EDD: Based on FF, February 10, 2013 (FX for a Valentines Day baby!)
Thanks again ladies!
Re: Bun in the Oven!! My BFP
Yayy congrats!!!
I know the feeling... I got my BFP this Saturday.
Cheers to a healthy pregnancy!
Congratulations!
I didn't feel any different the first week or 2 after my BFP too. Then exhaustion and nausea set in, and full blown m/s just hit me last week at about 7.5 weeks.
W : 01.11.13
#3 : due 11.02.15
Yay congrats!
Congratulations!!
Don't feel badly about the onesie. I gave my DH the positive stick wrapped in a onesie, and he had no idea what they were. I had to just say, "I'm pregnant."
