First u/s

We had our first u/s yesterday. According to LMP I was 7w and the baby measured 6w5d.  I get to go back in two weeks for another u/s to confirm the due date since my periods were getting shorter and shorter before I got pregnant.  

I just have to keep reminding myself that we saw/heard a heartbeat and even with my DS, he was a day or two behind in the early u/s. 

Oh, Baby Bean! We will always miss you! With us for 6w3d -- June 9, 2008.

    Congrats on a great u/s!  Don't stress about measuring a couple days behind.

    I would try not to stress about it - it's only a two day difference.  I had my first u/s today and am measuring 8 weeks, 2 days, even though my LMP was 7 weeks, 6 days ago.  I'm guessing it's not a perfect science!

    I'm surprised they're doing another ultrasound so soon. 2 days doesn't seem like an alarming amount off, I measured 2 days ahead and they had no problems with that. Congrats on getting to see LO again so soon though!

    I don't think the main reason is because of being 2 days behind (although that might be part of the reason), but because I didn't have a consistent period for more than 6 months.

    That's great that you saw a h/b, and don't stress about being a few days behind.  My RE told me that the dating is only accurate to +/- 3 days.
