These are things we got that A loves: water table, cozy coupe, rocking horse, blow up kiddie pool, catch me kitty, simple wooden puzzles, a few toys that she can take things in and out of (for example, she got a purse with some plastic toys inside and she loves to take everything out and then put it back in), a simple tool kit toy and push toys.
ILs got him a wagon, and I told my parents a cozy coupe is a good gift (preassembled at that!!). SIL is getting him the Little People Bat Cave (he LOVES Little People, and it's a bat cave, how awesome is that?!).
We're getting him a kiddie pool. Anyone else that asks I'm just telling them that he doesn't have many "big kid toys". For some reason for Christmas and his baptism/Easter people gave toys, but all for like 3-month olds! Even in April when he was 10 months old. I don't get it! He got bored with everything really quickly!
