Moms doing - Hungry Caterpillar Parties - Need help

I frantically working on party favors tonight and I am having trouble finding gummy worms for my original idea.  See below.  I have the jars and the #1 candles but cant find the gummy worms in a large enough amount to fill all 24 jars.  Any idea where I can get the worms or should I pick a different candy?  My mom suggested adding shredded green paper as filler to look like grass or we could try skittles since they look like the color scheme.

Please help with your creative ideas.  I am running out of time.

    We're not doing VHC - but I did something similar for my wedding. This place is in Maine but they ship! We used them for our wedding jars (filled them all with red candy)

    Unfortunately the party is Sunday.  I shouldnt have waited till the last week.  I just assumed I could get a bunch of gummy worms at Walmart.

    We did a candy bar with skittles, m and ms, dots and gumballs. We also did cheerios for the little kids. Check out Christmas Tree Shops - they have a lot of cheap candy. Or Walmart. I saw on Pinterest someone used a multicolord cereal that looked really cute too! Not sure of the name but that could be a filler. HTH!

    I would try the green paper.  Otherwise many grocery stores have gummy worms too!  What a cute idea...I may have to buy some skittles and do those as favors...my husband is going to kill me with all of this planning!!!!  My party is on Saturday so I will post pics but can't wait to see yours.

    Have you checked Walgreens or CVS? Ours always has a good (reasonable priced) selection of gummies

    You can also do the sour night crawlers in the black bags as well?not as colorful but worms
