Dr. appt today was good overall...

great blood pressure, baby's heart rate was perfect, I am GBS negative. However, I am only a finger tip dilated (whatever that means?!), cervix is still posterior and thick, baby is still high.....I know it doesn't mean anything, but with all these contractions I've been having, I expected more progress. Guess I'll wait and see what happens next week....hopefully even more progress.

He'll come when he's ready.

    I definatly know how you feel when it comes to the contractions, I have for like 3 or 4 days off and on had then where for 7 or so hours will come 2-3 minutes apart, but my cervix will not change from 2cm dilate, and since my water has not broken there is nothing they do once my contractions stop but send me home. 

    I am like you that since I have been having a lot of contractions expected there to be more progress but guess baby just wants to be stubborn.

    It's like we share the same story :) I am a 2 with no other signs of progress although I have been contracting . Hang in there...babies just come out whenever they are ready! Wouldn't it be nice if we could know the exact day though...lol. I guess it is just a beautiful surprise that we have to look forward to!
