So yesterday and this morning I drank 8 ounce glasses of the Bolton farms green goodness smoothie. I don't know why I didn't look at the bottle till AFTER I drank it this morning and saw it has herbs like and ingredients like spirulina and chlorella and nova soctia dulce! I have no idea what these things are and if they're safe for nursing.... Should I just feed her like normal or should I call someone like an LC or just relax and stop freaking out since I didn't consume that much.
I do have a freezer stash I could dip into but I have no idea how long it would take to clear my system. What would you do????
Re: Herbs in smoothies drink-had no idea!
I'd feed the baby.
Greens are not going to hurt the baby. Chill out.

Not sure if this helps, but I drink this too and have never noticed a reaction from E. Your post had me curious, so I googled some of the terms, nothing sounds bad, chorella even has mention of being good for breastmilk. I wouldn't worry, but if you are concerned you could call your pedi. Most of them appear to be protein sources.
