How do you feel about the name Annabelle? I picked up the name Anna Belle from a grave yard actually. Love it, and told DH. He likes them together. My concern is that it won't transition to an adult name well. Of course she could shorten it to Anna if she wanted which I also love.
He is now set that if it is a her it will be Annabelle, but part of me is just on the fence. So thoughts? Is this name terrible or regretable? Part of me loves it and the other part thinks maybe not so much.
Sister's name is Molly.
Re: I know you'll be honest, so
I love the name Annabelle. I also like Anna with the mn Belle. I think you should find a name you both love equally though.
Both names go really well with Molly.
beautiful name!
I like Annabelle. I also know a friend who named her daughter Annabeth, which I think is pretty too. Maybe that would sound less cutesy if you are worried about that.
I love it!
There is a really pretty Pat McGee Band song called Annabel.
I think it ages well, and that it sounds great with Molly.

I personally like just Anna better, but Annabelle is cute!
I agree with the PPs that the spelling Annabel is a little less cutesy and might age a bit better. But both spellings are totally legit

I think it's cute.
I would actually name her Anna Isabelle and shorten it then to Anna Belle.
I've known three dogs with this name. So I totally associate with a canine. And I think it's a little too cutesy and frilly for my taste.
Plus, whenever I hear or see the name "Belle", it reminds me of Belle Watling, the prostitute from Gone with the Wind.
Ditto!
