I was not feeling any urgency until the last week. Where are you at with your nursery?

We are still in the cleaning out phase, but this is number three for us so we have all of the big things we need. Once it's ready it should be quick, but we have to get there first.

This was me as well. It hit me this weekend that I NEEDED to get the room cleaned out and organized. No idea why since I have all summer to do it!

I think it was because we got our crib the weekend before, found a matching change table and I had gone to some garage sales and bought a bunch of onesies!

This is #1 for me, so I'm still anxious about what I actually need opposed to what I actually want!

Well this is my first LO, just moved to a new place, got the room painted, crib is up and room is pretty much ready, just am going to put up wall decals one I get all of them. I have some ordered that I just picked out the other day.

I feel ready for him already but at the same time, I have so much to do! I just have to wait! Cause we are still in the process of moving, wanna get my recliner in the room that is still in the storage unit!

I am stressing out cause it's my first LO and I just want to be ready, not just feel ready!

We are just in the planning phase. We've decided to finish part of our basement so I can move my office down there & make my current office DD's room. So, a lot has to happen before we can start decorating. Good thing is we don't have to paint.

The nursery is completely 100% done....that is bc DS is currently sleeping and living in there

the guest room will be transformed into DS's big boy room sometime this summer (I hope!) So far, I feel no sense of urgency bc LO will be in our room in the bassinet for a few months and I also am ?ber worried about DS transitioning out of his current room. I have shed a few tears over him having to move and "grow up".

I just started to get that "get it done" nudge as well! I worked on the nursery tonight for the first time. We got married six months ago and I was lazy and shoved a BUNCH of decorations, gifts, etc in the spare bedroom...just now cleaning it out:/

We painted 2 weeks ago and just ordered the crib. It should be here in a few weeks. I am going to go look at gliders this week to get ahold of the last days of the Memorial Day sales. Other than that, I still have a bunch to do. I will work on the rest of the room when I get back from vacation in two weeks.

We're moving about a month after she's born, so we'll do her nursery when we move into the new house. She'll be staying in the bassinet in our room for at least 6 - 8 weeks anyway.

But we have the crib, bedding, mirror and window valance. We just need a dresser.

We're in demo with one foot in reconstruction. Long story short, the walls & carpeting had to come down and new ones are going in. Oy vay!

This is us too. We've started talking about DD1's new room and tried to hang a new light fixture, but that didn't go well. Other than that we've done nothing and I'm not horrible rushed because DD2 will sleep in our room at first.

We haven't done much at all. We need to move the office furniture out first, which we'll start next week. I think we might buy the crib this weekend. We still have plenty of time. I am excited to do the nursery, but not feeling the pressure to get it all done yet.

We got the office furniture moved out, and the dresser, crib and lay z boy into the room. We didn't change the paint from the office, so it made it really easy to swap it over. Here's a pic of what we've got so far (minus the lime green recliner), still lots to get organized though.

I wasn't feeling any pressure till last night when I saw a friend of mine who's 14 weeks that's already painted her nursery! ack!!!!! Feeling way behind now...

We're transforming our tv room into the nursery (moving the tv and couches downstairs). Haven't moved a thing yet. Hopefully this weekend...? Tongue Tied

We'll be turning my computer room/office into the nursery and really it's a room with just A LOT of junk stuffed in it, SMH! I cleared some clothes out of it last week to donate to charity and that's about it! There's still a lot of paperwork to shred and computer, printer, bookcase etc to move out then we need to paint and get the crib and furniture. Every night I say I'm going to go in there for atleast an hour and do something...but I never do! *sigh*

I have nothing done yet and it's stressing me out. My husband is deployed so I'm kinda on my own right now. My FIL is coming next week to paint the nursery and the hardwood floors are being put down the end of June. My mom is ordering my crib, dresser, and bedding after the room is painted so it will slowly being coming together.
