Incision issues?

Has anyone had an infection with their incision. Mine is slightly infected and am on antibiotics now but was wondering if there was anything else I could do to make the sensitivity of the incision better and to make it heal faster.

    Take it easy, my incision opened up and I think it was because I was doing too much. As with any infection rest and stay hydrated. Feel better soon.

    At 4 weeks pp my incision had an inch section that was irritated and a 3 mm portion that opened up and started draining.  I was extremely concerned since I hadn't had any issues what so ever up until that point and saw my OB asap.  She said it was due to a pocket of fluid which frequently happens.  I had to put antibiotic ointment on it and it cleared up in a couple days.  If your not already I would suggest doing that.

    At 2weeks pp I had an infection and the fluid from it started draining. Here. I am 8 weeks pp and I'm still going to the nurse to get my wounds packed and dressed daily. It's been very frustrating, but it's healing. My infection cleared up a few days after the last dose of antibiotic. If you feel any tenderness and notice that area swollen and red, let your doctor know. Feel better!
