I really missed you guys. I just couldn't stay away. I know there's been alot of sh!t going down, but I want to be back on the team if you'll have me. I feel sort of weak for having to step back for a bit.
To all the newbies: sorry you have to be here. I've read most of the intro's I think, so I feel like I know you guys all ready, so hopefully you can get to know me too. ![]()
I had to step back because I felt like I couldn't contribute anything helpful to this board. It's been 12 weeks since my D&C and still no period. I felt like everyone was passing me by. I saw my OB last week and I'm on a 7 day cycle of Provera. I have a follow up on June 14th whether it works or not. I feel better having a plan.
I'm also seeking counseling services. (not just for my loss, but other persoanl issues as well) I work for a sector of the Canadian Gov, so I'm allowed to get 6 free counselling sessions and if the Dr thinks I need more, I will only have to pay 20%. I've only started the process, but just reaching out has brought me some releif.
Being away has made me realize how important you all are, I've gotten so much support here and I personally care about you guys like you're real friends.
I'm having a sappy day. :P
Re: After a short break, I think I'm good to come back
Yay! You have been missed and I'm happy that you're coming back. And stepping away is not a sign of weakness. A lot of us have done it at least once, some multiple times.
I'm so sorry that AF still hasn't shown up. I cannot imagine how frustrating that must be for you. But I'm glad you have a plan with your dr. and hopefully the provera works. I also think it's a good idea to get counselling. I hope that it helps you out.
Welcome back!

I just returned from a short break as well, I get it.
Having a plan can do wonders for you. It makes you feel like an active participant rather than a stander-by.
Counseling is pretty awesome too.

I'm glad to hear you've started counseling, too. Sometimes just the act of reaching out makes such a difference. And having a plan = even better. Keep us posted and it's good to have you back!
