My DH has a SIL that lives in Mongolia. We hardly ever see her and she's usually a pretty nice person but she sort of criticized me recently and it kind of hurt my feelings. So here's what happened...I changed my status on Facebook to say "Wishing for a New Year's baby". I am due on either Jan. 23 or Jan. 25 (I've been given 2 due dates). So New Year's would only be 3 weeks early, which is full term anyway. My other SIL commented on my status and said "wouldn't that be nice, since your DH's birthday is close to then". I commented back and said "yeah, it would be about 3-3.5 weeks early but perhaps a little easier to push out LOL" My other SIL wrote on my wall and said "from experience, having a baby earlier does NOT make it easier to push out". It's not as if I'm hoping for a premie for god's sake!!! Would you be annoyed at this comment?

Re: Annoyed at critical comment by SIL
oh no, not the "wishing for an early baby" drama again! you apparently missed the very heated debate earlier this week in which the ladies from 0-6 mos came over and blasted a girl for wishing for an early baby.
I wouldn't be upset about it. She's simply providing you her experience. I'd let it go.
