Re: Oprah is pleased with your generosity

  • Ooooo. Probably a new car. I love my car, but I need a bigger car with four doors for baby :)

  • A house.  I'm so sick of renting and having nothing to show for it.

  • A plane ticket back home to Atlanta where my family is.  While I am there I'd buy a house so I could live there and in Austin whenever I wanted.
  • A house in SC's low country. Always wanted to live there.
  • house on a lakeshore
  • I have a ton of things I'd love ... house, new car, vacation ... but the FIRST thing I would buy ...

is a california king sized bed with 1,000 count sheet sets for it.

  • Oh yay for good Karma...i like this game!

There would be plenty I would buy me/my family/friends, but the first thing I would buy myself would be a newer house (we currently own an older bungalow and the "charm" has now worn off...regardless of how much I love our stained glass windows!)

  • A new house-ours is old and every time we turn around there's something else going wrong.
  • A vacation for my family and I to the Maldives.

  • A maid.  I had one for 6 years, she quit to get a job with health insurance after her DH lost his job, and now I want a new one, but apparently they all charge 2X as much as my old one, and don't do 1/2 as good of a job.  She rocked.
  • Definitely a house.  Then I'd get DH a new car. No need for him to drive the beater anymore.
  • i probably would buy a house on more property. I live in a sub. but before that I would buy my parents a new house. They deserve one!!

  • A piece of land (or house to knockdown more likely since we live in the middle of the city) a few blocks over...so DH & I can finally design & build (we are Architects) our own home.

  • I'd get solar panels and use them to heat my house to a toasty 80 degrees.

  • 1. Pay off DH's student loan

    2. Sell our current house and buy a newer one and not care that I take a hit on our current house, LOL.  With the shitty real estate market we are going to have to stick it out here for a while because homes are not moving here in Ohio.

    3. Go on a really nice vacation

    4. Save the rest of the money

  • I don't even think a million could get me a house here. Maybe it could.
  • I would probably put more into our home.. or buy new clothes! I haven't done much shopping this year.

  • A new house. We just moved into this one, but it's still old and it's one we can afford now. So I would buy something a little bigger with an attached garage and an upstairs--not just a main floor and a basement.
