We took C to the pool today and even with slathering her up multiple times, she still managed to get a little pink on her shoulders and back of her neck. We live in South Florida so the sun is HOT and strong.
What have you found to work the best? We were using BabyGanics but I'm obviously going to need something stronger.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks, ladies.
Re: Recommend your baby sunblock.
We use the same. I think it's Pure and Gentle. It's a pink and white bottle. DS has very sensitive skin and this doesn't give him any sort of reaction. I am in Illinois, but it has been hot here lately and no pink/redness for my little guy when we are outside.
Think Baby.
It is the best brand I have came across so far and I even use it on myself
Ditto this. We are in southeast MI and it was 90 degrees today and no pinkness or bad reaction.
Yet another vote! It works great on DS' sensitive, fair skin (which he inherited from me, sadly.) One time I forgot my own sunscreen and used his, and it's the first time I've ever been in the sun that long without burning. That stuff is magic.
This is was I got too, but we haven't used it yet
We use Blue Lizard Baby.
If you haven't already, you should check out the Environmental Working Group's website for their 2012 sunscreen ratings. I use the ratings every year to make my decision.
