DD is a bit behind on gross motor so we're enjoying every milestone. In the past week she can now pull to stand with no help, she points, and now babbles!!! She was screaming for a while and last week started babbling and has the sweetest little voice, it melts my heart. Although every single "mamama" I say is countered with "dadadadada" But when she looks at him and says "dada' I love it.
He pushed that thing around the living room forever like such a big boy! It was so stinkin cute.
AND I think the spoon thing is starting to click. I held the applesauce container while he used the spoon and he got quite a bit into his mouth. Used to, he would do the motion but get nothing on his spoon OR he would flip it over before it got to his mouth. Not this weekend Such a proud mama moment watching him eat his applesauce.
V started (consistently) standing up without holding on to anything in the last few days.
He pushes his train around and makes a "shoo shoo" sound.
He took his first shower standing by himself. He peed in the tub so I had him stand up and I rinsed him off with the shower. During his next bath he was pointing at the shower head saying "ooooohhh oooohhh" because he wanted me to turn it on.
Avery is standing a lot now and has taken a few steps. I'm not holding my breath for her to start walking any time soon but she's getting closer. She turns one on Thurday! And she has perfected getting down the stairs now which is good.
He standing for up to about 10 seconds at a time. No attempts to walk yet, but it should be soon!
He also said his first word other than "mama". He says "Uh-oh!" all the time now. He drops his toy or sippy and says uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh. And then laughs.
This isn't really a milestone but it's so cute I can't resist. DS has started bringing me his shoes when he's ready to go play outside. He goes and grabs them out of the shelf we keep them and walks over to me and places them right in front of me, as if to say he's ready. This morning he was trying putting them by his feet as if he were trying to put them on, but of course couldn't. It's hysterical and so adorable.

Connor finally learned how to get off the couch properly. I've been showing him for a little over a week how to get off without trying to crawl head first off. Now he rolls to his belly and slides off....it's super cute.
Also, he takes after his momma - he's rolling his eyes at people. He did it to DH twice the other morning and to my grandma. It really is super funny to see.
I was telling DH that we needed to practice with LO one things such as pointing and no lie like and hour later she was a pointing machine, its like it just clicked for her. She has recently become quite the sharer with her toes and food. Think she will be walking anyday now!

Clara is full-out walking now! We don't have to "trick" her into taking steps anymore, she just lets go and walks where she wants to go, its amazing! She started it yesterday and I can't get over how cute and tiny she looks toddling around on her own.
DS sings and it's so cute!! He's actually been doing it for a few weeks now but he makes his voice real high and makes singing sounds (I don't really know how to describe it, lol).
He also now says banana "uh-nana" and will point/shake his finger at you and say "aye, aye, aye". Cracks us up!

DS seems so behind compared to your LOs but this week he went from crawling to pulling up and cruising and letting go, can get up and down our step (we have one large one leading into our kitchen), and can finally say something: "uh oh!" still not babbling or saying anything else but it's something!
Maya is full on walking- turning corners and everything! She loves it b/c it frees up her hands to carry stuff way farther that when crawling.
And today she figured out that she can lift the toilet lid with 1 hand and toss something in with the other. So far only a bar of soap has "taken the plunge", but I may have to start closing all the bathroom doors!

In one day Ev went from only taking bottles with formula, to taking only almond milk and only in a sippy! DH washed and put away all the bottles for the last time (for a few months at least), and we threw away our last can of formula. It's crazy because for months we've been giving him a sippy and he really hasn't taken to it. Then we went out and bought him a bunch of "big boy" sippys with no handles and something clicked.
I am so excited to be done with washing bottles and buying expensive formula!!
In the last few days Claire's 2nd tooth came through and she started waving. She's been clapping for a few months, so I've been wondering when the waving would happen!
Caraline has within the last week started standing without holding on to anything. She has been walking around the living room pushing her walker toy. When she stands she looks like she is dying to take a step but hasnt quite yet.
She has been trying to mimic words lately. Her fav one that she has been saying for a while is "tickle tickle tickle" because thats what I say when I tickle her. It comes out more like "ticky ticky ticky" but it is SO cute! And tonight I told her to tickle mama and she did the same kind of tickle fingers that I do and tried to tickle me! I about died!

I don't know if this is so much a milestone as just something adorable that he started over the weekend but he loves to (and insists on) dipping his food in things now. It started at lunch yesterday with guacamole and we had more tonight with his chicken and ranch dressing. I'm a HUGE sauce person and so I always have something to dip in. Clearly, he's picked up on that and wants to imitate me. He was just sucking ranch off his chicken tonight and then redipping

G can throw a ball! I got out his ball today and for the first time he really started playing with it. He would push it away and then crawl after it and then push it again. Then he sat up, picked the ball up in both hands and threw it! I am a huge sports person so this is huge to me!
R didn't want a plain chicken breast tonight. He wanted the bread with it, like a sandwich that both DH & I were eating. It was cute. He also has been wanting to pick his own books out to read.
Re: Milestone Monday!
HE SLEEPS THROUGH NIGHT!
7 to 7. It's glorious.
I'm a new woman.
Steps!! just 3 or 4 and then falling in our lap, but they're her first ones!
My baby was a rockstar this weekend
He got a Little People Zoo Truck for his birthday

She got 2 more teeth for a total of 8 now.
She is standing without holding onto things and squatting and just seems like she might start walking before long.
