Saw Cillian in the Irish names post below, but I think here it's more common written Killian? Anyway, I actually love this name, but have a hard time giving a baby a name with the word "Kill" in it. Does the "kill" literally kill it as a name, or am I overreacting? Thoughts?

This lol, makes me want on actually
Ha, that was my other fear... and why I will never have children named Jameson or Bailey either...
The more I look at it, the more I think I prefer the C spelling too. Super cute name, thanks for bringing it back on my radar!
I like the name, and prefer it spelled with the K, but I mentioned it to my DH and he said "beer". I get it, it makes people think of beer.
Would you be interested in Kieran (alt sp. Ciaran)? That is what I came back with after Killian was shot down
Or possibly Kienan?
I don't mind either Killian or Cillian as a name.
I do think of the beer with Killian, but I personally wouldn't use either because my husband's name is Ian and I think it's too close (not to mention Kill+Ian as a name is kind of weird....)
Sorry, I just can't get past the beer. That, and I have a friend who named his dog Killian. It would be a no-go for me, regardless of spelling.
My first thought was also beer

I love the name Cillian, with a C. Not a fan of Killian with a K. Reminds me of Cillian Murphy, who played the Scarecrow in Batman Begins. Gorgeous!
This. Killians Irish Red Beer!
