Pregnant woman set on fire

I don't know if any of you have heard this story, but a woman in Detroit was set and fire and shot by her ex boyfriend.  The woman just gave birth and is expected to recover.

    I can't believe anyone would do that to someone, especially a pregnant woman! I hope they throw the book at the guy who did it.

    The ex boyfriend should be given a vasectomy and then sent to prison.  This is a really horrible thing to do, and I am sure that they will do everything to keep his son from seeing his real father in the future.

Good heartbeat at 1st appt. 12/16/09. Started taking fish oil. Perigestational hemorrhage and red bleeding 12/17/09. 2nd Ultrasound-8 weeks, still a heartbeat 12/17/09. Baby measured 9 weeks, still a heartbeat 12/23/09. Good NT Scan on 1/8/10, heartbeat 164. EDD 7/28/10. TEAM BLUE! Aidan Thomas born on May 26, 2010. Baby #2, BFP 11/27/11, EDD 6/5/12. TEAM PINK! Noelle Elizabeth born 4/30/12. Blessing from God, Blessing from God, Blessing from God, Blessing from God.

    All I can say is this is TWISTED!!!!!!! I hope he and his little homeboy rot in prison. Thank God above the mom found the strength to pretend to play dead and wait for them to leave and then get the help she needed. OMG!!! Could you imagine having to lay dead still while burning?????? That's one strong momma!! Glad both are safe now.

    It is so sad that it never ceases to amaze me the cruelty and violence that can live within a person :( This is so sad but I applaud the woman for basically fighting back for herself and her child and surviving! I am by no means a violent person, but when I hear things like this, I hope for nothing but the worst for the perpetrators. Maybe someone should set them on fire and shoot them....see how they like it. Disgusting and poor excuses for human beings!
