In pain!!!

Has anyone else dealt with dental problems during pregnancy? During my first trimester I had the inside of a root canal become infected. It was the worst pain I have ever experienced! It felt like someone was jackhammering my jaw. The pain went deep inside the bone. I sat in bed crying for hours one night because I was in so much pain. I'm not normally a crier but this was unbearable! My dentist couldn't correct the issue without extensive x-rays so I took antibiotics and the infection cleared up on it's own. I'm now 35 weeks and it's back! I'm concerned about taking another round of antibiotics this close to my due date... but honestly I can't go through that again! Has anyone else had a similar experience? Is it safe to take pain meds (Tylenol) with antibiotics? Are there any natural remedies for this kind of thing?

    Have you tried using orajel or anything?  I haven't had any tooth pain, but my husband has used it and it worked for him.

    I had a root canal at 26 wks with DS. They too 2 digital xrays and covered me like crazy. It was necessary since AB werent working. 

    It wont hurt to take the AB again, and tylenol is safe as well.
