I know this was brought up just a couple days ago, but I'm flaky and can't find the thread...
I didn't think I'd get a Bumbo seat because I refuse to pay $40 for a little piece of plastic. However, I saw one on Craigslist for $15, and I'm considering getting it. Sophie has great head control, and we practice sitting a lot on our own. I'd probably just use the Bumbo as another option of places to put her while I'm doing other things (like, putting her on the kitchen floor in it while I'm doing dishes, etc.).
I need opinions - should I get it?
Re: Bumbo
For $15, heck yes
We use ours all the time and he loves it.
Oh, wow -- eating at the same time -- I've almost forgotten what that's like.

I'm with everyone else. I love that it is surprisingly portable so it makes a great "put the baby down while I do this thing quick that requires 2 hands or bending over" object. Better than swing/bouncy (which are surprisingly awkward to maneuver).
Eli loves his Bumbo. I'd totally pick it up for only $15! The tray is also worth it (even if you have to pay retail) because now that Eli is interacting with toys, I can put them on the tray and he can use them as he pleases.
ETA: *points to siggy* It's also great for picture taking!
yep we love the Bumbo, DD loves to sit in it while I am cooking, doing dishes ect. I talk to her and tell her what I am doing and she watches so closely
we also sit outside in the bumbo alot, for $15 DO IT!
