We are planning our LO's b-day party for Saturday June 30th. Originally I was thinking 12:00-2:00 so we could have plenty of food for people to have lunch. However, our LO has been transitioning into 1 nap a day lately, and now it seems she goes as late as 12:30 or even 1:00 during her nap. So we are thinking of having the party 1:00-3:00 instead. But then people will probably already have eaten lunch. So is that a bad time? Or is it bad for other kids' naps? Argh, just not sure if it's better to have it early afternoon, or late afternoon. What are you guys doing?

Re: Is there a bad time of day for a kids b-day party?
I want to start at 2, DH wants to start at noon. So....we haven't decided yet.
My friend just did her LO's party at 3-5.
I think 12-2 is reasonable for most people.
We are just doing a BBQ that people can stop by whenever, so we are starting after most kids are done with naps around 4.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
