Mommies with babies who have GERD...Help!

My LO has been making this gasping squealing noise like she's list her breath after feeding. We took her to the pedi (he have a referral to the ENT) and taken her to the ER where she was diagnosed with GERD. Is this noise normal!?! It scares the crap out of DH and I!!!

    My little one gasps often after a feeding.  I believe it is from choking on his spit ups when they aren't projectiles out of him!  He has taken Zantac since 6 weeks, have they put your LO on anything?

    Make sure you are keeping your baby upright after feedings for about half an hour, this will help to keep the spit up from coming up and your LO from choking on it.
