I was thinking about this ever since someone posted this blog a few days ago and made a point today to actually feel that moment of Kairos!
We had a very busy weekend and I came home exhausted. As I was walking my girls up to bed, all I kept thinking was, I don't want to read any books or anything. I just wanted them to go to bed! But, I did it anyway. All three of us were laying on DD1's bed on our tummies reading a book. When it was done, I asked dd1 what her favorite part of the day was (we do this every night) and she just yammered on and on about everything we did today. I actually had tears in my eyes thinking "this is my favorite part." It was just one of those moments where I felt so blessed to have these amazing daughters. We were just laying there chatting and it made me feel like the luckiest momma on the planet.

Re: Feeling blessed - share your moments too!
that is so sweet.
adorable!!!
we have all the kids down this weekend. having a big ole blended family (two 18 year olds, 13 and 11!) and a sweet little 3 month old is work --- but it's so worth it. we had a huge (and delicious) family dinner and it's so nice to be surrounded with such kind, compassionate, sweet and helpful kids that love my baby and welcome her with open arms.
