Hi All,
I figure you ladies are probably experts on all things carriers, so I'd like your input. LO has mental breakdowns in her stroller and her car seat, so we use a baby carrier. I'm using the Ergo right now, as the moby is too friggin' hot.
So far, I haven't taken the baby anywhere where I'm going to eat but as she's getting bigger, this is going to come up. What do I do with her while I'm eating? She can't sit up yet to go in a seat. Do I take the stroller and wear her and then just put her in it while I'm eating?
What have you done in this sort of situation?
Re: Solution for eating with baby in carrier?
Metal breakdowns do not sound conducive to a good meal. I'd forget the stroller. Try:
Eat one-handed. Choose your menu items carefully.
Take turns passing the baby so everyone gets to eat.
Put a napkin over sleeping baby's head so the chocolate cake crumbs raining down on her don't wake her up.

I do the napkin over the head too. And I don't get anything too hot; soup, coffee/yea,or anything that could drop on her burn her. Also I find salads to be difficult.
