TTC After a Loss

I recommand this!!

Today was a good day for me, finally!! I thought I would reccommand this to those who have had their AF come, or know they aren't pregnant this month, and not scared of heights. Today my DH took me ZIPLINING!! This was the second time going however couldn't stop thinking about you ladies and how much of a stress relief this was. You feel like you are flying and that you can do anything. I really reccomand it, however make sure you aren't pregnant when going!! I wish we all could be pregnant but until then we need to try to release some of the stress we carry with us. This was definitely it for me today, for at least today!!

Have any of you tried this or would like to? Or found something similar which is a good stress release?

  • Glad you had fun today! I'd love to go ziplining!
It was a rough road, but Arlo Daniel was born April 1, 2013—and our second rainbow is due October 12, 2014.

  • I went ziplining on my honeymoon in Jamaica and I must say I cried like a baby! The actual zipline was great but they had us so high up and standing on these tiny planks attached to trees and we weren't tethered to anything until it was our turn to actually do the zipline. And it was one tree to another to another to another so there was no place to just get off except to complete the courses. If I'd been properly tethered I would have enjoyed myself but standing around on a 12 inch board 15 stories in the air was not my idea of a good time. Tongue Tied

I haven't done this since I was a kid at camp.  I've got to look into a local place that offers zip-lining.  Glad you had fun!

  • Not scared of heights? I'm out... No way you'd get me on anything high-up....Unless I was unconscious.
  • Theres a ski place that does ziplining over the warmer months by me.  I went once with a singles group about a month before I met my husband and it was amazing!!!!!  There was a total of 10-15 ziplines, different type of rope bridges to cross, and repelling.  I would definitely recommend it.  I always wanted to go back.  Definitely a binding experience for all!

I tried to zipline, I went on an outdoor "extreme adventure" with an obstacle course up in the trees with ziplines throughout.  As soon as I got up there I felt like I was going to faint or throw up - I was so afraid I was going to pass out and fall out of the harness!  Apparently I am afraid of heights lol - however, my friends that went with me  had an amazing time!   Highly recommended for anyone that is not scared of heights!

So glad you had fun Big Smile

  • I find hot yoga (Bikram yoga) to be this kind of a stress reliever. It is such an intense workout, mentally and physically, and I really think it is the only reason I am sane after my DD's death. I'm addicted.
