Estradiol Tablets after IVF

Hi all! Hope everyone is having a great Memorial weekend!

I just went through my first round of IVF and today my "schedule" said to start my estradiol tabs. It said to take one and I did it this morning. On this schedule, every day it will say whatever I have to do that day...For example, tomorrow it says "continue crinone in the a.m." So, now I am wondering if I have to take the estradiol daily or not? Because it told me to take it today and doesn't mention it ever again on the schedule. Maybe I am an idiot, because I have a container half full with these tabs, but I don't want to take them  if I was only supposed to do it just that once. My IVF nurse never specified, or maybe I was just not listening? I did leave a message for her, but Monday being a holiday I may not here from her and I thought I would ask what you guys did. Daily or just once?

I feel like I am majorly stupid for asking this...Thanks for any reply!

    What does the prescription bottle say?  I'm on patches and I change them every other day. 
    3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)
    IVF and Natural FET resulted in BFN's and a hole in our wallets
    Natural BFP #4 on 9/7/12 gave us our miracle on 5/18/13

    I take Estradiol 2 times daily, once in the morning and once in the evening. I started it the evening of ER. I would assume you are to take it daily, but every RE is different. I know you said you left a message for your RE or nurse, but could you call the on-call doc to ask. Good luck!

    1st u/s on 10/10/12: It's Twins! We found out on 12/16/12 that we were having two BOYS!
    C & D were born on 5/16/13 at 10:46 am and 10:47 am

    I have also been taking it twice a day since ER and I am 4 weeks past ER.

    I was prescribed Estradiol 2x a day every day after ER. The bottle should explain, but I would call.
    dx: MFI 0% morph & low count. Occasional Anovulatory cycles.

    TTC #1
    • IVF #1 4/21/12 - c/p
    • IVF#2 8/1/12 - BFP! DD arrived 4/10/2013.

    Call you nurse and confirm.... you are probably taking them every day.  While stimming you, your follies were producing lots of estrogen and they dont' want that to drop to quickly. 

    TTC #1 Since 4/2010, Cycle 30
    Positive for HLA-B27, I'm a mutant :p
    Testing - Me ok, gluten issue? DH - borderline count, low motility
    4/28/11 IUI#1 = BFP!(5/25), EDD 2/2/12 - m/c 5w3d
    7/3, 7/31, 9/25 - IUI#2-4=BFN
    IVF#1 - 1 blast = BFP!! (12/30), EDD 9/9/12, confirmed c/p 4w2d
    FET#1 3/2/12 - 2 blasts =BFP!! EDD 11/18/12, us#1 = twins! Confirmed m/c 5w6d
    4/20-surprise BFP and another c/p 4w2d
    FET#2 7/16/12 - 2 blasts = BFN
    FET#3 8/20/12 - 1 blast - BFP!! Beta #1-2=177, 354
    1st u/s 5w6d, one beautiful little HB :), 2nd u/s 146bpm

    IVF#2 8/19/15 - cancelled due to cysts
    IVF#2 take two 10/2015 - 5 blasts frozen
    FET#4 12/11/2015 - BFN - 4 blasts remaining
    FET#5 2/18/16 - BFP!!!  Beta1-3, 126, 250, 745!!

    I am sure it is supposed to be every day. I will be doing the same after my ET. I would call the on call to clarify.

    Thank you guys! The prescription bottle only says "take 1 to 3 tablets as directed". I took one this morning just in case since I still haven't heard back from my nurse. I'm almost sure it is daily, but you know how we can start second guessing and freaking out...Thanks for the help :)
