Smartphone Lovers! {Opinions Needed & Obv. NTTCALR}

in TTC After a Loss

I currently have a blackberry with Verizon and i'm due for an upgrade. I love my blackberry, but I am also jealous of all the apps on the iPhone and Andriod phones. So, if you could get a new phone, what would it be? 

 

Right now i'm looking at either iPhone 4 {Not 4S} or Droid 3.... but i'm not sure what else is out there that's good! Let me hear it ladies. What would you get?

    I have the Verizon Driod Incredible...and I like it but hubby and I are also due for an upgrade and I really want an IPhone....

    Most of my friends have the IPhone and they LOVE it...

    I know... that's what i'm thinking about the iPhone. Plus the iPhone 4 is only $50 with an upgrade. That's not bad at all!!!

    I do not have any experience with Android phones, we are Apple snobs ;)

    That said, everything syncs, and it's wonderful. My iPhone and iPad can share apps. DH and I both have iPhones, so we FaceTime when he has to be away for work. Also, our calendars sync from our phones, iPad, and computers. Aaand we have an Apple TV, so we can watch movies/listen to music from the computer on the TV.

    Maybe more like apple whores than snobs.

    Well, if I get the iPhone it'll be the only Apple I have. So all the syncing doesn't matter. DH did just get a new phone as well, but it's not a smartphone.

    I have the iPhone 4 (not 4S) and I love it. So user-friendly and lots of great aps available.

    I have a Droid, LG something I forget which one in particular (it's upstairs and I'm lazy :) )  It will be the last LG I purchase.  The only reason I DIDN"T get an iPhone is because we don't live in the most populated place, and if there were any problems I would have to take it an hour away to get it fixed.  Next time, it might be worth it to me because I'm about fed up with this LG.

    I have an iPhone 4. I got it when it first came out, but it was my first smartphone. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my phone. I use the FaceTime and imessage features constantly (it's especially helpful since I'm living abroad right now, so it makes it so much easier to talk to people stateside!) I have used other types of smartphones that my friends have, and to me, the iPhone is far superior. So, that's my opinion! Either way, you will never go back once you get a smartphone!

    I have a Droid 2 Global. I like it, though my biggest complaint is the really short battery life.  Verizon just came out with a Droid 4 that my husband really wants once the price goes down more.  The Droid does everything that I need it to do, such as get email, facebook, google maps, etc.  If you use it alot though you might want to have a charger with you.  My boss just this week wanted to upgrade to an IPhone and the Verizon Rep told her that the google maps ap (free navigation) was not available on the IPhone, so if you travel alot you might want to stick with the Droid.

    That's why i'm thinking the Droid 3, because it's only $1 right now.

    When we do travel, I have a TomTom that I still use and love. So that's not a major issue.

    WHATEVER YOU DO, DO.NOT.GET.A.HTC!!!! I highly recommend a Samsung galaxy s2 :)

    I have a Droid Pro because it is kinda like a blackberry and has a keyboard on the front. I can't touchscreen type.

    I've had an iPhone for almost 3 years and I love it... I'm also a huge fan of Apple so I am a little biased!

    Defintely iPhone.  DH and I both recently got new iPhone 4s's and we LOVE them.  We had the plain 3's before and they were stll great.  I also have a ipad an love that everythign sycns etc.  We LOVE the facetime feature which is great for DS to talk to his grandparents etc or to us when we're at work :) 
    I think the iPhone is the most user friendly phone I've ever had.  Even my 78yo grandma has one and thinks is easy.  The the icons are easy to find and labeled. 
    I'd get an iphone again and again!

    I went with the iPhone!! The Droid 3 was really close, and I liked the keyboard. But when I slid out the screen to get to the keyboard it was very flimsy. I didn't like that. So, I jumped on the iPhone bandwagon!! 

     

    Anything for a first time iPhone user?? What do I need to know? What apps are a must have?

     The ones I use daily are: FB, The Weather Channel, Pandora, Pinterest, Family Feud :), Kindle, Sudoku and FF Mobile.  All of these should be free :)
    I can't wait to see the other replies of things to add!
