How much pain is normal two weeks post c-section?

I had my tubes tied as well and have noticed more cramping than usual.  I have a frequent dull pain in the lower right abdominal quadrent.  I also have severe incisional pain at the very edge of the left side of my incision....this also comes and goes and can be described as burning and stinging.  I don't remember being this uncomfortable two weeks out with my first section.  I'm still taking Motrin every six hours or so at this point.....

    The severe incisional pain would make me call my OB. I didn't have severe pain, but was still taking some ibuprofen each day to minimize discomfort at 2 weeks out. I didn't need any more meds by 2.5-3 weeks out.

    I am 4 days out and have decreased my pain meds significantly as of today. I have only needed to take one pill of Vicodin all day and two Motrin. However I will say everyone and their pain tolerance is different, but if you are concerned I second calling your OB to discuss it .

    I stopped all pain meds by day 10 because I felt basically 100%. If I walk/ am too active, my incision area feels right but not painful.

    A nurse in the hospital told me the burning can come and go up to 4 weeks so that sounds normal to me. But... If you're ever concerned, it's always wise to call your doctor.
