Turn, turn, turn Ava!

So I thought that the baby turned last night because I was in such awful pain and discomfort ALL night...she moved weird and I had this burning in my right leg and butt cheek all night. So I got my hopes up and thought that maybe she was turning...NOPE! What a tease. She is still in the same transverse position she's been in since 2 weeks ago. I hope she doesn't stay that way, don't they have to turn her or do C-section if she doesn't turn on her own by 40 weeks?

    I heard somewhere if you get on all 4's and rock back and forth it makes the baby change position.  I'm no doctor though and I doubt there's any scientific material to back that claim.  I'd ask your doctor when you go back.

    Did you try the frozen peas trick? Sit in hot water up to your belly button and then find where the head is on the upper part of your tummy and put a bag of frozen peas there. Makes them flip to keep the head warm - you may have to do a few nights in a row.

    You are getting close though - you can probably still get a midwife to manually flip her but you are running out of time and depending on size it might be too late.

    Your doctor hasn't talked to you at all about what will happen if she doens't flip? I would think you or your doctor would have addressed this by now...

    No, he hasn't said anything about her not turning...I was thinking the same thing, that he should've said something by now. I go back on Tuesday so I guess I'll ask then. Her head is on my lower right side and her feet are up under my left rib cage. Maybe she's just taking her time??? Did you guys turn already?

    We figured out our baby was breech last Friday (suspected it the week before at my 35 week appt. and had an u/s to confirm).  We already scheduled my c-section.  If your baby is breech, I would think they would have already talked to you about it.  Also - there are lots of ways to get your girl to turn - look up babyspinningdot com - or something like that.
