Avin Margaret is here!!

I never thought i would be a May mama!! This last weekend my hubby and I went to the beach for our babymoon. While there we had dinner at Pf Changs and after dinner I received a fortune that said "the one you love is closer than you think" my Chinese word was "May". Needless to say I kept that fortune just incase and am I glad! Wednesday evening I was in bed for maybe 10 minutes when I decided to roll over from my left side to my back when all of a sudden GUSH! My water broke at10:01 PM! Hubby and I were both in shock but we immediately caked the docker who confirmed that it was def my water. So to the hospital we went! After 14 hrs of labor and 3 hrs of pushing we were informed that a C-section was needed bc baby girl was stuck at at  -1 station in the birth canal. So at 5:03 PM Avin Margaret was born weighing in at 8lbs 2oz and 20.75" long! She had some bruising on her face and she had a major cone head. The doctor seems to think that she entered the birth canal crooked which caused her to get stuck. DH and I are head over heels in love with her! Good luck to the rest of you still waiting on your babies!

    Jennifer TTC #1 Dx PCOS 2009 Apr, Aug, and Sept tried clomid cycles.... BFN. Oct...DH SA results were normal. Me...HSG - left tube was clear, right tube was slightly blocked. Dec - Clomid #4 200mg Feb 2010 - IUI #1 200mg Clomid = BFN. June 2010 - IUI #2 200mg Clomid = BFN. March 2011 - IUI #3 w/ injectables = BFN (1st & last with RE, moving on to IVF).     Congratulations.  We also ended up with a c-section because baby boy was stuck at station -1 and pushing did NOTHING to get him down.  He also had a major cone head but it's going down daily along with the swelling.   I hope the bruising goes away soon.

    I'm starting to think that there's something to these PF Changs fortunes.  When we were team green and pregnant with DD we went to eat there and DH's fortune was "A wonderful new adventure awaits you" and the word was "Girl."

    Congrats!  I wish you a smooth recovery.  Positioning has sooo much to do with how hard it is for baby to get through the birth canal.
