**Curious on level of fertility after mc....

Just experienced my first mc on May 11th and have heard/read lots of things about women who have miscarried being especially fertile right after. Just wondering if anyone else has heard this or knows if there is any medical evidence to back this up....not quite sure if I'm ready yet & wanna make sure we are super careful if this is the case. Any advice would be great. Thanks :)

    I'm not sure I believe it either.  I was diagnosed with a missed mc 4/26 and had a D&C the next day.  I've had strange bleeding/spotting since then with only the last two days where it has stopped.  I've had two ultrasounds since then and have only seen tiny follicles no dominant ones.  I've been temping and my temps are all over the place and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to ovulate this cycle.  But, maybe increased fertility does happens for some people.

    TTC 10/11. IUI 2/12. BFP 3/8/12. 4/26/12 missed mc. RE consult 5/17/12. IVF #1 ER 7/13/12 53R, 41M ICSIed, 32F, 8 5d, 6 6d blasts - all PGD/frozen. PGD results 1 normal M and 1 normal F, 1 maybe M. FET 9/6, transferred 1 F embie. Beta 9/15 BFN. FET#2 planned for 11/2012 put off until 2013. Surprise BFP 11/21/12!! My son was born on 7/24/13!

    FET 4/28/2015 - Transferred 1 M embie. 5/6/15 BFP!

    I am so sorry about your loss, I have heard all sorts of things about that, I have had 2 CPs and 2 MC all in the space of 7 1/2 months so there might be something to that, however I have clearly been unsuccessful at staying pregnant, so we're going to wait a bit and figure some things out. I hope that when you decide you are ready you get your take home baby.  Good Luck!

    It is possible to get pregnant right away and it's possible to having another loss if your body is not ready.  I don't know if you are more fertile or if there is anything medical to back it up though. 

    Did you doctor clear you to start trying away?  There is nothing wrong with not being ready.  Take all the time you feel that you need to heal, both your body and your heart.

    All of this. You need to do whatever your doctor advised.

    Its is defanitly possiable to get pregant right away. But I certainly feel like I would be a little cautious and make sure your body is phsically ready. I got pregnant my first cycle after my d&c however that one ended in an early m/c.  A part of me feels as if I didnt give my body enough time to heal. 

    However with that said, I know that there have been many women who go on to have health and happy pregnancies right after a D&C and/or m/c.
