I am flying cross country so about a 5+ hour flight. How do I go about changing a diaper on an airplane. I assume I would just do it on the seat or on my lap right? I REALLY hope no one is sitting next to us and we get the whole row to ourselves!!!
Any tips? DH will be traveling with so he can help as well.
Re: Changing diaper on airplane?
I've had a few friends tell me that there is a special changing table in the bathroom on airplanes. It's somehow hidden, so they suggested asking a flight attendant for support. Not sure if this is true of all planes, but worth a shot to ask when you get on!
Good luck with your travels!
Both the airplanes we flew on last week had changing tables installed right above the toilets in the bathrooms. I can't imagine how a toddler could be changed on one, but it was just fine for my 14 week old. It looks like part of the wall with a silver clip, which I pushed and it folded out to a small flat surface.
I can't imagine what we'd do without that, as LO cries bloody murder from the second she wets herself until she is changed, and it's even worse if it's poop.
I would have never thought there would be a changing table in the restroom. Of course when I use the restroom during a flight there is always turbulence...yikes.
