My 18 year old sister just graduated high school and is now looking for stuff to decorate her apartment she'll be moving into in August. She's trying to find bedding. Her roommate already bought the whole animal print theme stuff so she doesn't want to do that.
We've looked online at Walmart, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Overstock and she hasn't found anything she liked. Everything is either "too babyish" or "too old" she says .. she's pretty picky. eh.
What are some other ideas for a reasonably priced bedding set?
I liked this https://www.target.com/p/Xhilaration-Abstract-Floral-Comforter-Set/-/A-13616458 but she said that was too babyish...
Re: Where to buy bedding?
Ebay! They have amazing brand new, never used stuff for great prices.
DH and I bought something like this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/BED-SHEET-SET-1000-Thread-Count-100-Egyptian-Cotton-/300705654775?pt=Sheets&var=&hash=item46037427f7
but we got the entire set with the duvet and everything in a queen size for like $89 or something like that. We have had it for a few years now and its held up great.
I'd look into the sales section of pottery barn, crate and barrel, cb2 and room and board. I just bought a summer duvet cover at PB on sale.
I like the bedding in your link, amd don't think it's babyish!
I looked on Amazon and thought there were some cute sets. I thought this was similar to what you picked out, but maybe the black would make it less babyish to her?
There's also a cute floral set that's just black/ white on there, as well as these:
I think they were all under $100. Ikea also has some great bedding. Not sure if you have one near you- but they sell duvet covers, pillow cases, sheets, and plain comforters for a reasonable price.
I second Kohls. Usually you can get coupons to use on top of sales prices. What's her favorite color? Here are some I like:

My post got cut short and can't edit previous. Here is a very bold graphic one. I would have loved this in school. Kohls has Vera Wang comforters too and they're gorgeous, but pricey. Burlington has some nice Tommy Hilfingher (sp?) and Nautica ones. Their prices are also great!

I love Crate and Barrel and Pottery Barn for bedding. I have always tried to wait for sales and deals at both places, because normally they are pretty overpriced. Crate and Barrel might be a good place to start for your sister - they have an online outlet store and sometimes they have really good deals on there!
Also, check out overstock.com, macys and Kohls
Kohls has a whole section online for dorm bedding. There are some cute sets there that are still cute without being preteen.
