2nd Trimester

does 2nd tri count as prenatal "terrible twos"? lol {vent}

ugh this is horrible.

i feel like (i, baby, my body?) is being super picky about when it wants to eat, WHAT it wants to eat, when to be awake, when to be asleep....

i had a super great workout this morning. did some DVD workout, then took a walk and power-walked back home. i come back in thinking, "lets eat breakfast and do some cleaning!"

i usually eat a bowl of cereal and some toast to to the kitchen i went. i took one spoonful of cereal and it tastes like flour & water. yuck. so i tried my toast. it tastes like soggy cardboard....

so i decide, "lets fold clothes then, until we figure out what we want". i drug the laundry basket to my little corner on the couch and as soon as i sat down this wave of "its nap time" came over me....

at this point i feel like a fussy toddler. will i never win? lol

  • Totally!!  I currently have Mt. Fold-me sititng on our couch outside the laundry room and since I just  put my 2 girls down for a nap its all I can think about, but here I sit with housework calling...but all I want to do is stomp my foot and yell NOOOOO!!!

  • You are barely in your second tri, chill. Your hormones probably haven't completely leveled out yet, so you are still experiencing the symptoms you did in first tri...unfortunately it's not like you hit second trimester and a switch gets flipped and all is magically well. Some women experience food aversions and fatigue well into the second or even third trimesters.
