Do you all regularly give your LO snacks between meals? I generally don't and it never really occurred to me to give him snacks but I'm thinking maybe I'm in the minority here. He BFs between meals but doesn't get, for example, crackers or Os or dried fruit or anything like that.

Re: Snacks between meals?
You know, I never thought about it. He typically has smaller bottles, so he tends to have more smaller bottles so he typically just takes those in between meals. Well, now that I'm typing, he does have a mum mum in between meals sometimes but not on a schedule though.
ETA: I have to change mine all together because after I said my original response I started thinking of all of these other things he gets as a snack, cheese, fruit, yogurt smoothies, etc.... I guess I really don't pay attention, I just do it, LOL.
DS doesn't usually get a snack in the am except for maybe a few puffs. There's a longer strech between lunch and dinner so I typically give him a snack in the afternoon....usaully some cheese and fruit.
She doesn't usually have a morning snack. She naps usually 9:30 to 11 then we run errands and she has lunch. On Wednesday we go to playgroup and have to be there at 11 so I usually put her down a bit early for her nap and then give her a snack before we go (if we have time).
She always has an afternoon snack. Lunch is usually 12 or 12:30, then has a bottle around 1 and a nap around1:30 or 2. She has a snack (usually fruit and cheese or yogurt, maybe some crackers) and then we have dinner at 6.
This is us too.
At daycare she gets a snack in the afternoon. Usually yogurt and sometimes also fruit. They are transitioning her to the toddler schedule with is breakfaste before 8am, lunch at 11:30, and then a snack at 3. Since she's there till at least 5:30 they said she should have a high protein snack so hold her over till dinner.
When we're at home though I haven't really been giving her a snack unless she's fussing for something.
She doesn't get snacks consistently, I suppose b/c between 3 solid meals and breastfeeding, naps and an early bedtime I don't know when I'd even give her a snack. Sometimes if we are running late for a meal due to being out or something, I'll let her suck down one of the Ella's or Plum Baby pouches ,which I always keep on hand, or some mum mums.
Alexis is a grazer, if I tried to only feed her snacks and her 3 meals she would never eat enough. I tried doing meals only and no snacks and that just did not work, she would barely eat at meal times. I did the grazing with my older kids also it works much better since I know that they are eating enough.
Exactly this. The "snack-type" foods (freeze dried fruits, yogurt melts, cheese, puffs, etc.) I give are usually just at the beginning or end of his meal as a way to keep him occupied while I prepare dinner or do dishes. I also usually bring snacks with me when we're out
Occasionally, I will give DS bits of whatever I'm eating in between meals, just to see if he will eat it. While he was playing in his playpen the other day, I was feeding him bits of pita and hummus which he LOVED.
I cut up fruit in the morning, put it in a container that I leave on the coffee table. She eats from it throughout the day. She doesn't eat substantial meals yet though.
