For a long looooong time, my DS would only nap in my arms. I SAH, so it wasn't a huge issue, and I loved the snuggle time we had together. About a month ago, I transitioned him into his crib for naps and it has gone a lot better than I expected. For his morning nap routine, I turn on the white noise, change his diaper, put him in a sleep sack, read him a story and then lay him down. He normally fusses for <5 minutes before he falls asleep.
Recently, he has started fussing as soon as I walk towards his nursery with him. He cries throughout his diaper change and whimpers through his whole story. I know they say that babies crave routines, but this routine seems to be working him up more than it's calming him down. Should I change his routine? What would you change?
