man, guys have all the luck...

in 2nd Trimester
you know i'm just thinking about how I'm pregnant (as are all you) & how we busted our butts today making food and such and entertaining & DH made a fire in the fireplace-wooo freaking hoo!   I personally, am still expected to work 40 hours, know where all DH's stuff is at every moment, pay the bills (on time when pregnant which is impossible),  do the dishes (well load/unload dishwasher), do the laundry, clean up after the dog/cats, clean the house, make dinner etc... and yet here I am carrying and birthing the damn kid too!!   Wow, I'd like to be a guy for just a day.  LOL

    Awww.      I wouldn't want to be my honey...he actually does ALOT of the things around the house.  Granted, I cooked some stuff to take over to his moms and cleaned up, and then came back and put all the leftovers away, but he's babied me all day.(I'm exhausted)  He just got done vacuuming the house and taking care of the dogs.

    I'm gonna have to come kick Mr.CeltiCutie in the butt.  ;)  LOL

    I hear you on that one.

    DH installed a laminate floor at his grandmas last weekend and has complained at least 10 times a day about his leg pain.  So the dog comes in with dirty paws yesterday and he is whining about not being able to bend over. So I say, well, I'll do it, forget the fact I can barely bend over anymore and my back kills me.  So I do it.  I then said to him about 10 seconds later "you have zero pain tolerence, thank god men don't carry a baby for 9 months or give birth"

    I can clean my house, pay bills and cook a meal all at the same time. DH can make toast.  LOL

    My DH does all the laundry and dishes... plus he cooks for himself, since I don't go anywhere near meat!

    But yes, it was a little annoying today that I had to wake him up 3 hours after I got up (to go to the grocery store and make cupcakes, green bean casserole, and corn pudding). No one expected him to make anything for Thanksgiving dinner!!

    I love it when HIS side wants people to bring something and I have to make it....

    Actually, DH doesn't do the obvious stuff like laundry and dishes, but he does clean things like the windows, microwave, etc.
