TTC After a Loss

Ovulation pains?

I'm on my third cycle after having a D&C and during my second and third cycle I've had what seems to be ovulation pains during the week I should be ovulating.  It feels like the light menstrual cramps I get a couple days before getting my period.  It's not very strong, but enough for me to notice something is going on.  I never had any ovulation pains before the miscarriage.

I read that ovulation pains normally last a day or two, but this "pain" goes on for a few days (last cycle it was for about a week, on and off).  Has anyone else had something like this?  Is this something I should be concerned about?  I have a doctor's appointment in 2 weeks so I'll bring it up then.

  • Thanks EKGibs.  Like everyone else here I'm just really eager to get pregnant again and being the worrywart that I am I notice every tiny feeling in my abdomen.  I will definitely mention it to my doctor and hopefully I'll have a bit more clarity as to what's going on.

  • I have O pain but it's not like a menstrual cramp. It's more like a bend over and hold on to your hat burning pain and it's from having PCOS. I would call your doctor.

  • I only had O pain on Clomid, and it was sharp, brief pain.  Whatever you are getting sounds different.  I would ask your doctor.
