Respite Care Weekend Recap (PsIP)

Sorry this wasn't more timely of an update, but I needed to catch up on my sleep!
We had an awesome weekend with Peas (3yo girl) and Carrots (1yo boy). Both kids were beyond adorable and very well behaved. Saturday we made it to a birthday party and then to our neighborhood block party. Here are a few pictures where Peas was helping me run games for the kids and Carrots realized he loved taking DH's hat!
Our biggest challenge was probably trying to get Peas comfortable around our dog Rudy. Friday night she wanted nothing to do with him. But by Sunday she had made up the "Rudy Song" and wanted to "snuggle with him" as seen below!
We had a great time and definitely feel ready for our placement, whenever that will happen. It was really nice to have a test run to build our confidence since we are so new to this parenting thing!

Adoptive daughter born 08/07/13... growing so fast
BM due again end of March 2015 so any day!
