Late Growth Spurt?

So I know there is supposed to be a 3 month growth spurt... but my LO is about 3 and a half months. But this week he's been really cranky and literally been eating 45 - 52 ounces in a 24 hour period... insane! Could this be a growth spurt?

    For us, there was definitely a 12-week growth spurt and it lasted about a week. It seems like we're in the middle of another one. DS went from sleeping 8-3ish without eating to up every 1.5-2 hours at night and never seeming full throughout the day (I BF, so not sure how much he is eating). 

    Just going with it... not much else we can do, right? 

    Son #1: 12.27.08 (6 years)
    Son #2: 02.06.12 (2.5 yrs)
    Baby #3 due: 02.10.15 (It's a girl!)
    GD with all three pregnancies
