"new places" and eating

does anyone else's FF baby refuse to focus and eat when in new places?

 

lots of squirming and not really wanting to eat unless we take him out of the room and go to somewhere where its quiet.....

    Nope, when DD is hungry, she doesn't care where she is.  She wants the bottle (FF) and she wants it at that moment.  She will look around while eatting but isn't distracted in the least.

    Yes. Lately my boy is distracted by every little thing when eating! Even at home!

    I'm hoping it's just a phase because it's getting kind of annoying. He doesn't feel like eating anymore!

    Maybe try the blanket trick that most of us EBFers use to maintain a little privacy? Throw a light blanket over your shoulder and LO to block out the stimulus.
