Locked Ourselves Out With Baby Inside!

Last night was a disaster :(. We accidentally locked ourselves out of our town house with LO sleeping inside. We tried to call a locksmith but they told us the would take about 45 min. before they could come out. At this point the baby was awake and was screaming and my husband decided we couldn't wait and broke a window on our door to get in. 

Glass shattered everywhere and the baby was screaming, but luckily was untouched by the glass. I was a wreck and cried more than the baby, haha!

Of course because it's a holiday weekend no one will come out to replace it until Tuesday without it costing an arm and a leg. My husband is going to path it up to last until then. What a great way to start our weekend!! :)

    Oh no! I actually did that once when babysitting but thankfully I was able to track down a spare key before the baby woke up. Ever since then I triple check the doors before I leave the house and the baby is inside alone.

    oh man that sucks!!! We have a spare key hidden outside. But now that I think about it, I dont think DH knows where that is.... maybe I should tell him.

    Im also super glad that my car has the keypad on it to unlock the doors - otherwise Id be paranoid I'd lock DD in the car by accident...
