Belated BFP to Share

Hi Ladies,

I?m sorry that I couldn?t tell you earlier because DH was on a business trip for two weeks. It was painful to keep this secret from everyone, esp. my friends here. He just returned today, and boy was he surprised!

This is my third month and first cycle charting. I am 34, and this is my first pregnancy.

When I Tested: I POAS on DPO-11. I had planned on waiting until my expected period date, but I just felt that my body had changed. The HPT was negative. Bummer. Then I decided to wait until DPO-14, but I caved on DPO-12. At first it looked negative, but I walked away and came back after two minutes. A faint vertical line could be seen. In DPO-13 and -14, I used a FRER and got substantial lines on those days.

What I Did in the Fertile Window: I drank lots of water and a mug of green tea each day between AF and O. I had good CM. I also took regular adult multi-vitamins and iron and calcium supplements. I tried to incorporate more full-fat milk products (within reason).

How I Knew: Starting around O+1, I began waking up at 4 and 5 in the morning. This is not like me because I usually sleep through the night. Around DPO-8, my breasts became extremely tender, especially under the armpits. I noticed when I first started going down a flight of stairs. This is unusual for me because I get minor tenderness for a day around my period. The breast tenderness has lasted from DPO-8 on. My breasts feel slighter heavier. There have been a few afternoons that I felt fatigued. My skin has cleared up for the moment.

My Gratitude: My current EDD is January 28. I can?t thank you enough for all of your support while trying to conceive. I have not been sharing my endeavor with anyone IRL because I did not know how long it would take. I do consider many of you true friends, and I hope that you receive your BPFs soon.
